Class Master: Catherine Wohlwend
This class is open to all skills levels. As a seasoned group instructor, Catherine will semi-customize options to ensure those that are either just beginning their fitness journey or have injuries will still get a great workout.
We’ll combine kettlebells, bodyweight and primal exercises in an intense interval style workout. Both strength and conditioning workout, you’ll be out of breath, sweaty and your muscles will be begging for rest.
If you’re more advanced, be advised that Catherine is always eager to progress you to those heavier bells!
As a StrongFirst instructor, Catherine will teach you in detail how to handle kettlebells correctly and with respect: if you’ve swung before, be ready to have your form perfected!
Besides bodyweight warm-ups and interludes, the class will be composed of kettlebell basics: swings, overhead presses, deadlifts, front squats, carries, rows and tackle more complicated moves like Turkish get-ups, snatches and cleans as appropriate.
Fair warning: kettlebells are addictive!
