Born and raised in San Francisco (in the Mission), Eric had aspirations of becoming a teacher. After having graduated from Cal in humanities (English and Philosophy double major), it became clear that his growing passion for health and fitness was going to become his new focus. In fact, Eric's first day of college was his first day in a gym. From then on a passion for training grew right under his nose. Having only begun the beginning of 2014, Eric already has already generated good worth of mouth and has made a name for himself as a smart, fun and challenging trainer and instructor.

Eric's training style is fast, hard, and concise.. Keeping rest to a minimum, and keeping reps constant, Eric aims to attack those slow twitch muscles most people never even scratch. By the same token, he likes to challenge those fast twitch muscles by using pyramiding programing to attack increasingly higher weight ranges. By using his sharp language skills, Eric believes in keeping training and cues as simple and clear as possible (and also avoiding jargon and convoluted language and instruction), hoping that it becomes much easier to help others find higher levels of strength, stamina and balance.

On a personal note, Eric loves his Bay Area sports, olympic lifting, his bike, and everything else this city has to offer.
