Jon began his journey as a fitness professional as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Stationed at Ramstein Air Base Germany. Jon was chosen to author his unit's fitness program. Using his innate leadership skills and unique ability to motivate he led all 264 Airmen to a passing physical fitness score, a first for a unit of that size.
Since leaving active duty Jon has excelled in the world of fitness. He is known for blending high intensity functional workouts, powerlifting, olympic weightlifting and gymnastics.
- I reached out to Jon at the end of June with the goal of finding a trainer that would help me get back in shape and lose weight. I hadn't worked out in years, was overweight and wanted (more like needed) the guidance of a trainer to help me achieve my goals, hold me accountable and help motivate me. In just 4 1/2 months of working with Jon, I've truly transformed myself and lost 30 lbs! I don't want to sound like an infomercial, lol, but I've also increased my strength, flexibility and confidence. :) It wasn't easy; it took a lot of hard work and dedication. With Jon's help, I've achieved milestones in my workouts that I never could have imagined I would have the strength to do- I can squat 123 lbs, and I've never lifted weights like that before, it's so rewarding! Jon really cares about his clients all-around health too. From the start, he truly listened to what my needs/wants were, and put together customized workouts for my beginner level and ability. He also provided nutritional advice, which made a big impact on me. And as a novice at working out, I really appreciate the focus Jon has on proper form and technique, so I don't injure myself. Jon has such an uplifting, positive energy that is so infectious! And with his truly genuine and consistent encouragement, he motivates you to push yourself in every workout. And he continues to create variety with every workout, which is huge for me, so I don't get bored! We set goals along the way and its been so satisfying as I reach them and reflect back on where I started. I can't stress enough how amazing Jonathan is to work with!
